Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and compliance protocols in the warehouse.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment accuracy and turnaround time.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
