Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and documented.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery trucks promptly and securely.
- Assist in conducting periodic stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow company procedures for handling and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
