Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of imported and local raw materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to align inventory levels with demand.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for efficient space utilization.
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory status, movements, and variances.
- Implement best practices for material handling, labeling, and organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
