Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to local and international quality regulations, including ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and the use of testing equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Chemistry, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 5S, PDCA).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP) and quality management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
