Are you a detail-oriented logistics professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? TransPak is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Executive to join our team in Sungai Jawi, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the gap between operations, supply chain, and procurement to ensure seamless warehouse performance.
You will be instrumental in optimizing inventory accuracy, streamlining logistics workflows, and ensuring that our quality standards are consistently met. We are looking for an analytical thinker who thrives on process improvement and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management (PM), QA, and Transport departments, to maintain our reputation for excellence in the industry.
Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert for warehouse processes, providing technical guidance to operational teams.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement and Supply Chain departments to optimize stock levels and minimize lead times.
- Monitor and enforce strict QA/QC standards to ensure goods are stored and handled in accordance with company safety policies.
- Manage inventory records with high precision, performing regular cycle counts and audits to ensure system accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Transport and Logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce overhead costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management or logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments (PM, Procurement, QA).
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency is essential).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
