Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure compliance with purchase orders and quality standards.
- Accurately record and update inventory data in digital systems, maintaining real-time tracking of stock levels.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse areas, ensuring easy accessibility and optimal space utilization.
- Prepare and package materials for distribution to project sites, adhering to safety and handling protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and report findings to management.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, as required.
- Collaborate with procurement and project teams to coordinate material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data and documentation.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with safety protocols for handling and storing materials, including hazardous substances (if applicable).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.
