Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments with accuracy, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying quantities and quality to meet customer expectations.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery trucks, optimizing space and ensuring timely dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in resolving shipping or receiving discrepancies by coordinating with supervisors and other departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25-50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) is advantageous; certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
