Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of raw materials, tools, and finished products against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, stacking, and rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to prevent damage or obsolescence.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or internal distribution, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently, following all company and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment, including compliance with 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate material movements and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Generate and maintain accurate documentation, including inventory reports, receipts, and issuance logs, using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is a plus.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, Google Sheets) and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25–50 kg) and work in varying temperatures or conditions.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in forklift operation or material handling equipment is an advantage.
