Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of materials, products, and processes to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC documentation, including test reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects or non-conformities and recommend process improvements.
- Support the LSS5 Project by ensuring all quality control measures align with project goals and timelines.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and proper documentation procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, quality management systems (QMS), and emerging technologies to enhance QA/QC processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), Six Sigma, or other quality management frameworks.
- Proficiency in using QA/QC tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, or statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
