Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement facility maintenance programs to uphold infrastructure, equipment, and systems in optimal condition.
- Lead and mentor a team of facility staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to facility management.
- Optimize space utilization and layout to enhance operational workflows and storage capacity.
- Manage vendor relationships for facility services, repairs, and procurement to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to facility efficiency, downtime, and safety incidents.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to maintain advanced systems for inventory, access control, and surveillance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, distribution center operations, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in leading teams, managing budgets, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, ISO, etc.) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and procurement.
- Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
