Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely arrival of materials to avoid project delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement with budget and timeline constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, expenditures, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues with suppliers, including returns, refunds, or quality concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, compare prices, and assess supplier performance.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional knowledge of Indonesian or local languages is advantageous.
