Responsibility
- Operate and maintain company vehicles to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Assemble furniture and other products according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to verify the condition and completeness of items.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including signatures, timestamps, and any customer feedback.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in delivery driving and/or assembly work, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills in English to interact with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and delivery of products.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
