Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a secure and hazard-free workplace.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze operational performance.
- Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow continuity.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
