Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Lead supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Analyze spend data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in procurement strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their sourcing and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards in procurement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
