Responsibility
- Oversee daily distribution center operations, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, transportation, and inventory management, to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping times, and inventory turnover to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with IT and systems teams to leverage technology (e.g., WMS, ERP) for real-time tracking, reporting, and process automation.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, ISO standards, and lean management principles is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
