As part of our growing team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to inspect, test, and validate Outside Plant (OSP) installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of OSP (Outside Plant) installations, including fiber optic cables, poles, and underground conduits, to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform quality control tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
- Document inspection results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Monitor and track quality metrics, KPIs, and performance trends to drive continuous improvement in OSP deployments.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the development and updating of quality control procedures, checklists, and training materials.
- Participate in pre-construction and post-construction meetings to review plans, specifications, and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSP, Fiber Optic) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in OSP quality control, telecom infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, including cable placement, splicing, and termination techniques.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, power meters, multimeters) and quality control tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work remotely from Bali with a stable internet connection and a proactive mindset.
