Responsibility
- Sort, inspect, and pack fresh fruits and vegetables according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
- Follow strict food hygiene and safety protocols at all times, including proper handwashing and use of protective gear.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment or delivery, ensuring accuracy in weight and quantity.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods as needed.
- Report any damaged or substandard products to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
- Previous experience in packing, warehousing, or food handling is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift items (up to 15-20 kg) for extended periods.
- Commitment to adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to wear the required attire: dark plain T-shirt, long dark pants or jeans, and covered shoes.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends or early mornings if required.
