Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials, tools, and supplies to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, maintaining a systematic and efficient warehouse layout.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers or internal departments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling and documentation of goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with a valid certification preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
