Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing workflows to meet deadlines and targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement, and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, quality assurance) to streamline processes and resolve bottlenecks.
- Prepare and present production reports, analyzing KPIs to identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a production or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality control systems, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
