Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead freight and transportation logistics, coordinating with carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and service partners to secure favorable terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
