Responsibility
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations to ensure easy retrieval and accurate stock levels.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve warehouse processes.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory accurately.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
