Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and proper labeling.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring timely and damage-free handling of goods.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification is a plus).
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
