Responsibility
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are securely transported.
- Navigate and plan optimal delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to hospitals and other designated locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving any delivery-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps, and any discrepancies.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure the well-being of team members and the integrity of delivered goods.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and prioritize urgent shipments.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory within the delivery vehicle to optimize space and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with drivers, clients, and team members.
- Basic knowledge of navigation tools and route planning software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage but not mandatory.
