Responsibility
- Develop and execute purchase plans aligned with production schedules and inventory requirements to ensure on-time material availability.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics, including lead times, stock levels, and supplier performance, to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and align purchasing strategies with budgetary constraints.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, contracts, and inventory records using ERP or procurement software.
- Conduct risk assessments for supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans to mitigate delays.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through bulk purchasing, alternative sourcing, and process efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase planning, procurement, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends, KPIs, and market conditions.
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques (e.g., JIT, MRP) and lean principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
