Responsibility
- Accurately record and update inventory transactions in the company’s ERP system to ensure real-time data integrity.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review and decision-making.
- Organize and maintain all inventory-related documentation, including receipts, shipping logs, and adjustment forms.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and production planners to verify stock movements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or excess stock to prevent production delays or storage inefficiencies.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Support audit processes by providing accurate records and participating in internal or external inventory audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while maintaining high accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics principles is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
