Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments while verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily operational targets.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or similar role, with at least 1-2 years of forklift operation.
- Valid forklift operator certification (mandatory).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25-50 kg safely.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with standard warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekend shifts.
