Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and proper labeling.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to strict deadlines and accuracy standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records in real-time.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or a similar role (entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply).
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain one (training provided).
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
