Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, storing, and dispatching of meat products and retail goods in accordance with company standards.
- Pack and label products accurately to ensure they meet quality and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing and shipping targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to food safety and hygiene, especially for meat products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling products.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards, especially when handling meat products.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.
