Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently to move goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and deadlines.
- Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and support operational efficiency.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
- Basic proficiency in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and willingness to obtain certification if needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
