Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety protocols in biofuel manufacturing.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize output while minimizing waste and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, quality control, maintenance) to streamline workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production, testing, and packaging of biofuel products.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, downtime, and efficiency, and report findings to senior management.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process automation, technology adoption, or sustainability improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production supervision or management, preferably in biofuel, petrochemical, or renewable energy industries.
- Proven track record of leading teams, improving operational efficiency, and meeting production targets.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, ISO standards, and GMP practices in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to address production challenges.
- Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP, MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Indonesian is advantageous for collaboration with regional teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
