Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory by labeling, sorting, and storing goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in processing returns, documenting discrepancies, and resolving inventory issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25-50 lbs (11-23 kg) with or without assistance.
- Basic proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as operational needs arise.
- Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and commitment to adhering to them.
