Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, utilizing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for perishable goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, verifying quantities and conditions to minimize errors.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to prioritize order fulfillment and optimize warehouse workflows.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field (fresh graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply).
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg, with attention to proper lifting techniques.
- Basic proficiency in inventory management systems or warehouse software (training provided).
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors in order processing.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and follow instructions in a high-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) is a plus, especially for perishable goods handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime, as operational needs arise.
- Valid forklift operator certification is advantageous but not required.
