Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues as needed to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
