Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end purchase order processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with global suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms for optimal cost efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, aligning with production and demand forecasts.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce lead times and improve supplier performance.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless procurement operations and budget adherence.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues proactively to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with global sourcing, import/export regulations, and incoterms is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantageous.
