Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move cargo safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of containers, ensuring proper handling and stowage of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure data integrity.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and facilitate easy retrieval of items.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and equipment upkeep.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably with forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory accurately.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as required by operational needs.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to adhering to them at all times.
