Responsibility
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and safe transportation of furniture and heavy items within the warehouse.
- Perform assembly and disassembly of furniture as required for storage or delivery preparation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure data integrity.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) to move items efficiently.
- Organize warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and ensure easy access to frequently used items.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and on schedule.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, furniture handling, or a related field.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25-30 kg) with or without assistance.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions precisely.
- Good communication skills in English (basic Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, to meet operational demands.
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
