Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, shipments, and deliveries using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational protocols in all warehouse activities.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and maintain efficient workflow.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a forklift operator or warehouse assistant (training provided for motivated candidates).
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) as required.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating day shifts and occasional overtime.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
