Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of metal products.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production metrics, including output, waste reduction, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to minimize waste, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Report production performance to senior management and recommend strategic improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the metal manufacturing or heavy industry sector.
- Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production management software to streamline operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Certifications in production management (e.g., CPIM, PMP) or safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.
