Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and storing of incoming inventory with accuracy and efficiency.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and error-free fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery trucks and manage shipment documentation.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software to track and update stock levels.
- Assist in quality control checks to verify the condition of incoming and outgoing goods.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and perform repetitive motions (bending, lifting, standing).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (if required for the role).
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
