Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring all goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Perform daily stock checks and inventory counts, maintaining accurate records in the warehouse management system.
- Organize and arrange warehouse goods to optimize space utilization and ensure easy accessibility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment before use, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders, prepare shipments, and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory processes as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or Forklift Operator (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic literacy in inventory management systems and ability to use handheld scanners or RF devices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
