Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, including labeling and stock rotation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to load/unload trucks and manage stock movements.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Assist in preparing shipment documentation and tracking inventory using warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg (assistance provided for heavier loads).
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Certification in forklift operation (or ability to obtain one) is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as required by operational needs.
