Responsibility
- Assist in the accurate recording and management of inventory, ensuring all stock levels are up-to-date and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Handle, pack, and store products safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and industry best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, balers, and forklifts (if certified), to facilitate smooth warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following 5S principles to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance metrics.
- Support other warehouse staff and supervisors in daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency and teamwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is desirable.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, balers, or forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory and documentation accurately.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
