Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Provide EHS training and awareness programs for employees at all levels to promote a safety-first culture.
- Monitor and manage environmental impact, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required by authorities.
- Stay updated on emerging EHS trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Certification in EHS (e.g., Green Book, NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing, logistics, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in EHS management systems and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
