Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory by labeling, sorting, and storing products in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all warehouse transactions, including shipping and receiving logs.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25-50 lbs (11-23 kg) regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, inventory software) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
