Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Develop and optimize warehouse layouts and workflows to enhance efficiency and space utilization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the logistics industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
