Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials and supplies.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring easy accessibility.
- Prepare and package materials for distribution to project sites as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in conducting regular warehouse audits to ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing storage areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment is an advantage.
