Responsibility
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
- Stay informed about market trends, new products, and supplier innovations to drive cost savings and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain processes is a plus.
