Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain precise inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and generate regular reports for management review.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, optimize storage space, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to local regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues and improve workflow processes.
- Prepare and process documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms, to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse administration, inventory management, or a similar role within the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or proprietary systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
