Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Prepare tables by setting up cutlery, glassware, and napkins according to establishment standards.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing daily transactions.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address any concerns, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in closing duties, including cleaning tables, restocking supplies, and preparing the dining area for the next shift.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and splitting bills accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
