Responsibility
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments across networks, systems, and applications using industry-leading tools.
- Analyze and prioritize identified vulnerabilities based on risk levels and potential impact to the organization.
- Develop and implement remediation plans in collaboration with IT and development teams to address critical vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and report on vulnerability management metrics, trends, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to proactively enhance security posture.
- Assist in the development and refinement of vulnerability management policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts related to security breaches.
- Provide training and awareness sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or a related IT security role.
- Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
